Default Does the weather affect anyone else\'s mood?

So it's raining for like the 3rd day right now. Not really a big deal...but it definitely affects my mood. I feel wicked crappy and uber depresso. This happens a lot in the winter. I know of seasonal affective disorder and it affects a bunch of people in the same way. Just wondering if anyone else here gets in the same 'blah' mood when it's crappy outside? And what do you do to pick yourself up?

I myself am going to see if a buddy of mine wants to get burritos and go bowling today.

I live in Phoenix and am pretty much the opposite way. I love when it rains or does something other than being 80 degrees and sunny.

I feel the exact same way... I hate the stupid rain... Alternatively, my mood is always brightened by a really nice day, no matter how crappy things are going...

Go tanning.

Bright lights/warmth will make you happy even if you don't care about being tan.

Part of why I'm in a bad mood is I know I have to walk in it for 5 minutes each way to/from school.

On the other hand, when i have tons of work to do, I'd much rather it be miserable outside, so nobody else can enjoy the day and I feel like I'm not missing out as much.

Making dough usually cheers me up.

I live in the Seattle area so I cannot afford to let the weather affect my mood. A few years back we had a record of 100 straight days of precipitation. It started to wear on me eventually. But three days? Pff.

I get really lazy when it rains. I always just want to skip work, stay home and smoke pot while I listen to the rain fall. So if I could stay home while it rains... then I actually like the rain. But if I have to go outside... then I hate the rain.

I hate crappy weather - that's why SD is the place to live.

Is making dough some sort of euphemism I've never heard before?
