Stars 3.30 rebuy we are in the money but still 300 ppl left
blinds 1000/2000
player in 1st pos. has 80,000 in chips makes it 6000
I have 55,000 in mid pos. with QQ I call 6000
Late pos. player with 112,000 reraises to 18,000
1st player moves all I look down at my QQ.....

in this tourney this is a very easy push.

Agree with Fiji, but don't think it's a supraeasy call. Why push over reraising to say 18k Fiji? Do you expect hands you beat (typically 88-JJ, AT-AQ) to call a push? You are 9x'ing his original raise...

I don't know if this is as cut and dried as you think. Late position could easily be on a squeeze and may not be that strong. The UTG raise + call all-in is very worrysome though. If you fold you have 49k left or M=12 at this level, M=8 at the next. Since theres still 300ppl left I probably rarely if ever fold in this spot cuz we should be playing to win, but I think the situation warrants some thought before calling.

It's a cheap rebuy tournament.

Shove preflop

Done that many many times with QQ lost many many tournies with QQ that fact sticks in the back of my mind every time I see QQ.
2nd person to mention the buy in size curiosity question... at what level of buy in in the same situation do you not shove in?

I didn't realize you smooth called PF initially, thats a big mistake. Gotta stick in a nice re-raise or shove.
