\"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (Week of 11/6) (Fri 10-20 NL)
For those wanting to tune in, head on over to watch That's Alan play to the river and stack the chips, being anywhere from a 6:1 to 4:1 dog. Watch Alan as he makes ther most incredible, mysterious reads, as if he knew what the turn and river would bring. Watch Alan, faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall stacks without a single ounce of ability. Enjoy, and my apologies to Kevmath.
Edit: Works better than what I'd put up. |

Re: \"Offiical\" Live at the Bike thread (Week of 11/6)
I'm going to try something new and instead of 5 threads, just do 1 thread for the week and see how that works.
Monday's show will be 5-10 NL with a $500 min, no max buyin. |

Re: \"Offiical\" Live at the Bike thread (Week of 11/6)
what's up guys...i was watchin one of last weeks shows, i believe it was wed, when ed and mo were playing very soft against each other checking it down or making big bets to let the other know to fold. Now i didn't see any of this when another player was in the hand but what if someone like mike or alan were in the hand and something happened like mo putting in a pot size bet of 1,000 and ed calling with mike folding then they decide, since they are friends, they check it down from there on in. wouldn't you be livid being the player that folded when you in a sense, could've seen the turn and river for free? just seems they should eliminate that play somehow.

[/ QUOTE ] There hasn't been as much softplaying as there had been in the past. It seems to happen more often when everyone at the table knows each other and there's some sort of unspoken agreement that friends will do that at times. |

Re: \"Offiical\" Live at the Bike thread (Week of 11/6) (Mon 5-10 NL)
Bart asks weather Mo should call the river shove with his QQ if he can beat 3 hands, and cannot beat 2 hands. If we assume that his opponent's range is only those 5 hands, the pot (with the last bet) is 3500 and Mo has 2500 to call, how do we do this math? Is it:
(3/5)*(2500+1000)-(2/5)*(2500) = 1100 So, does Mo have 1100 in +EV? |
