I usually cbet this flop but forgot to this time due to me 12-tabling. Easy call on the river? It feels like I often see a full house or a flopped str8 in these situations.

I'd call, quick no thought pushes are generally bluffs (in my experience anyway).

A flopped straight would reraise on the turn or bet on the flop. This goes for two pairs as well.

Ah just noticed a AF of 0.5. I don't use HUD personally so I am not sure how fast this stat converges.

Definate call, this hand to good to throw away, and as Freelancer said, no thought pushes are generally an attempt to steal the pot.Would be unlucky if his holding is AQ or KQ or even Q7 which I have seen played, but thats poker. Call!!

with an AF that low, this is never a bluff, if he got there with a worse Q id be surprised, but if you had cbet it would be easier to say. Its probably a fold.

Sorry if my level of play is insuperior to yours!! But forget stats go back to the fundementals of poker, reads etc. Trips is a good hand 6 handed and the only time i'm laying them down is when my read is a higher set if i'm holding a mid set or there is a board which looks like a full house as hit.Poker is about luck combined with skill and an element of risk, not just stats.

level 1 players think about their hand

level 2 players think about what their opponents hand is

level 3 think about what their opponent thinks they have


saying OMG call you have 3 queens is fundamentally bad poker, im not trying to be an ass but you shouldnt be making calls for reasons like this. I agree the game is about more than stats, but its important to recognie that this guy rarely bets or raises and has made a very strong move. Also in my experience overbets are hardly ever bluffs at this level.

Usually, when I start to think like this, I find myself losing about 30BB/hr.

Fold. I think you look up a flopped set or KQ/AQ way too often to make picking off bluffs/worse queens profitable.

Not going to disagree with your points, just my read on the hand is a call. Should villian be holding AQ or KQ then tough on me but analysing the hand without a read on villian at this moment in time is telling me to call.
