Default 11$ Early stage, how do i play 2nd nuts here? (JTo)

1st level of blinds, no real reads at player, but the whole table in general seems to be calling alot of "possible steal" raises with a wide range of hands

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) internettexasholdem.com

Hero (t1840)
MP3 (t1660)
CO (t1730)
Button (t1960)
SB (t1190)
BB (t1000)
UTG (t1200)
UTG+1 (t1290)
MP1 (t1630)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
3 folds, Hero raises to t60, MP3 calls t60, 2 folds, SB calls t50, BB calls t40.

Flop: (t240) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets t180, MP3 raises to t400, SB folds, BB folds, Hero calls t220.

Turn: (t1040) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 bets t300, Hero calls t300.

River: (t1640) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets t500, MP3 raises to t900, Hero calls t400.

Final Pot: t3440

Whats the best possible way to play it? Whats the river play? I feel that my check on the turn was a mistake.

Results:

Is shoving here really such a good idea? What do i beat here exept draws/air. My thoughts after his reraise was - KQ,AQ,AJ, QJ, KJ are very possible, perphaps even trips JJ or 99 could reraise on this straight-heavy board
