Re: $10NL AA flop question
Dont post results, you will only get biased replies.
Also typing out the hand is better than posting hand histories. I'd raise a wee bit more preflop, say 0.8, to compensate for being OOP. I like felting AA, and people rarely play sets fast on this level. J7 is a possibility but meh, you got ACES man - shove. [/biased reply] |

Re: $10NL AA flop question
I was more thinking a long the lines of AJ, JJ, 77 calling a 6xbb raise out of position...
But then again he turned out to be a total donk |

It is rare to see people limp in with that - you'd sooner see AA/KK. 77 is the only hand I would be truly worried about, apart from J7. But as I said, on a dry board like that people rarely play sets so fast. Which IMO leaves J7 as our most plausible worry. And that is, like, one hand. |

Re: $10NL AA flop question
Ah ok, don't feel that bad about it, didn't lose everything, but I just wonder what would have been the best thing to do.

Re: $10NL AA flop question
TBH, from i rememeber of 10NL, it's almost never correct to fold AA, unless the board is TJQ suited, 14 ppl. have seen the flop, and it's been reraised 102 times before it gets to you. i think you're ahead much more often than not in this spot.
also, ppl. never play sets fast at this level. so the 8$ is usually either a draw (unlikely) or TP. oh, and it's okay to raise more preflop: they'll call. |

Re: $10NL AA flop question
Yeah I play 10 and 25nl simultaneously, there is a difference between those two. But I'm more used to getting called at 10nl, not raised like this(cause that is practically a allin).
Ah well next time I'll push it and wil probably get called by trips . |
