check withdrawals
are there any drawbacks for check withdrawals? i have an ub account and all my other options are very limited or too expensive. they say '' Checks of $2000US or more will be sent to you via courier service at our expense''.... does that mean i get it faster? will i receive in dollars no matter my local currency or can i lose a lot in the exchange? are the bank fees a lot? will the check say it's from a gambling site? any info on this would be great, cheers.

Re: check withdrawals
The main disadvantage is the time frame getting it.

Re: check withdrawals
i've received all my payouts via check from party poker. the checks come from pay-pro, a company in canada. they don't say anything about party poker or online poker on them. just a check made out to you, that's it.
i have a checking account at a bank already, so there is no fees in cashing my checks. i just walk up, show my id and debit card, and they process the checks and hand me my cash and off i go... i just started a stars, so i haven't made a cashout yet, but when i do, it will be by check again. |

Re: check withdrawals
thanks a lot ,jimmy how long does it usually take to get there and do you know if it's a lot faster via courier service ? i'll open a checking account in dollars so there won't be any money lost in the exchange. does anyone know what an ub check look like, anything related to gambling on it?

Re: check withdrawals
it usually took about 7-10 days to get here. on party you could pay extra to have the check delivered faster, but i was in no hurry for them, so i just picked the free option.

cheers mate
i got the answer from ub if anyone else cares [ QUOTE ] Dear Sir/Madam , The courier service will be Fed Ex. They will deliver the funds to your door for you. The check may say either EWorld holding or will be addressed from Atlanta. This is where our bank is and where the checks are sent from. This will be a regular check and no mention of online gaming will be listed on this. [/ QUOTE ] |
