50NL 6max - Overcards, gutshot, 2nd nut flush draw on flop
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)
UTG ($44.90) MP ($24.35) CO ($69.60) Button ($7.55) Hero ($52.05) BB ($71.50) Preflop: Hero is SB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG calls $0.50, 3 folds, Hero completes, BB checks. Flop: ($1.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero bets $2, BB calls $2, UTG raises to $6, Hero raises to $30, BB folds, UTG raises to $44.4, Hero calls $14.40. Turn: ($92.30) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) River: ($92.30) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Final Pot: $92.30 For me this seems pretty standard, though when he raises, i figure he had two pair or something so my overcards aren't neccessarily good. Still 12 outs though. Should I be playing these kinds of drawing hands to the felt in a limped pot? I know there is no fold equity by me raising again after i bet and he raises, but i figured i might aswell get the money in now, instead of missing the turn, then feeling like i have to push a blank turn card. Thoughts? |

Re: 50NL 6max - Overcards, gutshot, 2nd nut flush draw on flop
wow didn't realise how much i overbet the pot with that reraise to 30. thinking about it though, does it really matter if i want the money in (or atleast be committed for the turn) on the flop?
