So, I have started reading a bunch of Autobiographies.

Okay, not a whole lot, but man, I am really digging this genre.

So, I have found, thus far, that Autobiographies are within this following range.

A- This is my life. It always was, is, and always will be wonderful.

B- This is my life. I am very successful, buy my life is terrible, this is how I improve it every single day.

BTW, this is my favorite kind of read.

C- This is a small portion of my life that you may be interested in reading.

So this is what I have read, with a quick review.

Travels by Michael Chrichton--- This is IMO one of the worst authors I have ever read. But this book is soooooo good. Here, Chrichton explores all aspects of himself, from spirituality to just plain general knowledge. He travels the world seeking out knowlege. Type B.

Nickle and Dimed by Barbara Erenhieght (spelling?)--- Barb gives herself a challenge: To try and work a low- wage job, make rent and feed herself every day. She fails at all three attempts. Although I once lived this life of poverty, the statistics and her story are still shocking. Pure honesty. Type C

Underneath it all by Traci Lords--- Reading this one about the infamouse kiddy porn actress and how she evolved into a "real" actress, and how she copes with her life and childhood. Type B.

Pretty Good for a Girl by Tina Basich--- About her adventures in Snowboarding. Doesn't say too much other than to live to the fullest. Type A.

Sigreid and Roy--- The magicians go back and forth writing a few pages at a time. They have led an interesting life. Type A or B, not too sure.

David Blaine--- Very good book about his life, and his views as a magician. Full of interesting tidbits about stuff in general.

And yes I did read Postively Fifth Street and Moneymaker.

I think I am going to check this next one out: "The Presidents Daughter," I am not sure who it is by, but it is about D. Eisenhour's (?) affair with the author. Should be f fun read.

And yes, I will pick up the Annie Duke story, why not?

I really enjoyed Chronicles Vol. 1 by Bob Dylan even though I'm not a huge fan of his music. You might want to check it out. I saw Michael Palin's new book which was some diary entries of his from the 70s in Borders today and I think I might buy that the next time I'm there.

While I'm here, has anyone heard anything about if/when Vol. 2 might be coming out?

Roddy Piper's auto-bio is a light read, that will have you in stitches. He's a funny guy.

Bobby Heenan's and Fred Blassie's are also light, and almost as funny.

Bill Gates did a couple, I believe, at least authorized ones. They were pretty good.

"Dry" by Agusten Burroughs is amazing. He was the author of "running with scissors" which is in theatres now, don't know about the movie or that book, but he is a very talented writer who doesn't gloss over any of his extremely troubled past.

Night by Ellie Weisel--- About the holocaust. He did live in a concentration camp.

Lucky by Alice Sebold--- Flipped through a few pages of this and I find it to be a good peice of work. Basically dealing with her rape. I thought her second bood, The Lovely Bones was pretty good, so I think I will give this one a spin.

I have a disdain for Bill Gates, so I don't think that I would be interested in reading his auto-bio. Yes, I use windows, whatever...

Me Talk Pretty One Day - David Sedaris (your category C, but very funny).

If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B Movie Actor - Bruce Campbell. (your category A but interesting insights into his relationship with Sam Raimi and how unglamorous it is to be a B-grade actor).

Chickenhawk, by a Vietnam chopper pilot. One of the best ending lines I've ever read. Great book.
Ken Uston's first blackjack book.
