Text Messaging Online?
Anyone use an online service to send text messages? I just found out that I can send texts via AIM... are there any better programs out there for this? And also, this won't get charged to my phone bill, correct?

Re: Text Messaging Online?
AIM is pretty popular. There are other services such as MSN and ICQ but AIM is the most popular. Over the phone it'll cost you to send them but online it doesn't as long as you have an internet question. Are you serious, this is the first time you've heard of AIM?

Re: Text Messaging Online?
I use my regular e-mail account to text Verizon customers sometimes. Just type in their ten-digit number at vtext.com. I'm sure other cellular providers have a similar feature.

Re: Text Messaging Online?
I've used AIM for instant messaging, and used my phone for text messaging. I never realized until today that I can use AIM to send text messages.
