Re: NL100: Turned flush, anyone play it differently?
it's good, i often bet turn a little bigger
river is fine, i sometimes push river, sometimes bet small like you did, and sometimes $45 or $50 his river play is weird, and you may be beat by a slowplayed bigger flush, but not often enough to warrant anything but an insta-call |

Re: NL100: Turned flush, anyone play it differently?
I bet more on the turn, more on the river. You might try betting less to induce a raise from some players. But in general, I want to bet more so I can bet more on the river.

Re: NL100: Turned flush, anyone play it differently?
Turn bet I was thinking I dont want to give away my hand too quickly, so a small raise may cause him to think I have two pair/top pair/set and raise me.

Your bet is 1/2 pot and is a perfect sized blocking bet. You might get a raise out of some very aggressive players, but most will just call. |

[/ QUOTE ] I'm thinking that a bigger turn bet here is reasonable because you have made it seem as if you are trying to protect your hand on the flop by 3-betting out of position. This 3-bet really hides the flush draw here since your OOP. That way it's perfectly fine to lead out on the turn for 20-30 dollars and then push the rest in on the river, giving him better odds to call. |

Re: NL100: Turned flush, anyone play it differently?
You got all your money in the pot. You probably have the best hand. BB is playing what two clubs and calls your raise on the flop? I guess KcQc is possible. If you felt he might be on this hand you should have put him on the wrong pot odds to call your flop raise.

Re: NL100: Turned flush, anyone play it differently?
as was said above, get more in on the turn. your flush draw it not obvious. you want to get a lot of value out of this hand.
you still got it in so its all good |

Re: NL100: Turned flush, anyone play it differently?
I bet more on the turn, I think often a smaller bet looks more suspicious especially after flop action, and they can always rationalise your larger bet meaning you're scared of seeing a 4th club (which, to some extent, you are anyway).

Re: NL100: Turned flush, anyone play it differently?
I bet about 20 on the turn and shove the river. I want the river bet to be a fair bit less than a PSB to make it easier for him to call. That means making a little bit bigger bet on the turn.
