Are these stats normal? I lost a lot of money...
182 hands played and saw flop:
- 17 times out of 33 while in small blind (51%) - 25 times out of 32 while in big blind (78%) - 42 times out of 117 in other positions (35%) - a total of 84 times out of 182 (46%) Pots won at showdown - 11 out of 19 (57%) Pots won without showdown - 23 ************************************************** ********** Omaha (Real Money): 701 hands played and saw flop: - 86 times out of 94 while in small blind (91%) - 84 times out of 93 while in big blind (90%) - 393 times out of 514 in other positions (76%) - a total of 563 times out of 701 (80%) Pots won at showdown - 64 out of 134 (47%) Pots won without showdown - 161 ************************************************** ********** |

those stats mean little in omaha, you could just be running average, or you could be aweful. Most of the time your only going to be a 60/40 favourite. Your sample set is WAY too small. Post the hands where you lose >80 BB if you want feedback

Hey check out this session i just played:
Wait... What is that you say? Did I play other hands over the last 3 days? yeah I did! In fact, here are those hands, INCLUDING the wonderful session cited above! Basically, omaha variance is crazy. I wouldn't even bother looking to hard at stats for like 50k hands at the minimum. Just focus on the fundamental concepts and ignore the numbers. A few thousand hands are a drop in the atlantic.
