Default 25NL 77 Blind war

How do you play this different? I have a small sample of under 50 hands and he is 10/7. Does anyone ever check fold this flop? I felt like I didnt really have another play.

Check-folding flop might be a good idea, maybe even folding preflop, since effective stacks aren't all that deep.

Problem is that person with those stats (even if unsignificantly small samplesize) don't reraise just any hands. Your pair is probably deeply screwed here and preflop you should decide whether to play it for set value or not play it at all.

Even playing for set-value sucks here because the effective stack is $11.4, you're AT BEST flipping and I think that's fairly rare here. You're putting like 25% of the effective stack in preflop with a hand that's most likely 80-20 underdog. Even worse - by calling, you only see 3 cards that could improve your hand, you'll hit the flop one out of 8.5. And unless you're going in on any flop, you probably lose some equity by not putting it in preflop.

Implied odds aren't there. Fold preflop.

I'm with the fold preflop crowd. Out of position with 7-7 is a nasty, awful, horrible spot to be in. And on boards with 2 or 3 undercards, if often is second-best against a BB re-raiser. Avoid the temptation and get out.
