Will mohegan get poker back?
While at foxwoods last weekend many players were talking about mohegan spreading poker again. I asked why they closed thier poker room I heard everything from dealers selling drugs to prostituiton rings. I dont know why it closed but you would think with the poker boom they would want a room agian.
Anyone have any info about this? p.s I have never been there but I have heard it is Much nicer than foxwoods.

These rumors have been going around since the day after Mohegan's poker room closed. Last weekend, people were saying they were going to have electronic tables and no dealers, which was a new one on me.

Mohegan's never getting a poker room. Ever. End of story.
Either that or it's opening next week, depends on which dealer's best friend at Mohegan you hear it from. It closed basically because one guy was letting a lot of shady stuff happen. Stuff you mentioned.

Monkeymaps. This rumor comes up so frequently (about once a month) that I use it as a que to email Mohegan Sun and ask. I will be doing just that after this post. I am surprised they still respond. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] At any rate the answer has always been the same. "We are not re-opening the poker room, but we would love you to try some of our fabulous -EV table games."
Moheghan is MUCH nicer than Foxwoods. Decor, atmosphere, clientele etc. The only reason I go to FW is because it is the only poker room around otherwise I would sit my middle aged butt at MS in a heartbeat. Sorry Tom10167. Peace, Mygtar

After recently going to the Grand Pequot side of FW I must say it is actually quite nice, in fact, I like it even better than Mohegan. Rainmaker is hideous though.

Anytime I'm at FW and I hear somebody start to talk about Mohegan I put my fingers in my ears and go "la-la-la-la-la-la."
