PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (6 handed) converter

SB (t805)
BB (t4935)
Hero (t1665)
MP (t2290)
CO (t2570)
Button (t1235)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
Hero calls t100, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to t300</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to t1665</font>, SB calls t505 (All-In).

You guys like this play here?

1) I would just raise first UTG. I can't think of a situation where I would limp UTG with these blinds and number of people.

2) I don't usually make moves like this. I would just complete. It's not a terrible move though if you have a read that they'll fold.

First hand: I really don't understand why people like to just call preflop with medium pairs like TT and JJ. I personally put a normal raise here every time. Though if you're going to call pre like you did, then you're pretty much forced to get all the chips in after the sb raises.

Second hand definatly depends on what type of player UTG is.

Good call. I suppose I could *sometimes* get away with this at the 33s or 55s. But I sometimes forget that you can't assume anything about those low stakes guys.
