Default Hellmuth vs Matusow

Please don't shoot me if this post has been done before. I'm new

But, I was wondering who people like watching more on their sheer entertainment value?

I think it's gotta be The Mouth for me...

I'm getting pretty sick of Mike...They both play it up for the cameras IMHO. So, I guess I'd rather watch Phil.

perhaps but there are some classic moments from the both when they get beat to a pot.

maybe i'm evil and maybe daniel n crossed the line in that HSP episode where he pwned mike about his roll/money etc.

i found that hilarious at the time.

.....

yeah i'm probably going to hell

Matusow doesn't act that way for the cameras. He acts that way without cameras.

Phil is a huge tilter but has seems to not go into thermonuclear melt down like he used to.

You want entertainment? I think Jennifer Tilly is an entertainer. Esfandiari can do magic tricks, that's fun stuff.

Both are poor representatives of poker. I find Mike to be genuine so therefore he is more enjoyable.

One way to summarize how I view it: Mike berates good players to get them off their game, and even if it's a little annoying, people usually have a good time.

Phil, on the other hand, does it to amateurs who probably don't have near his experience and are inevitably going to make some bad plays and get lucky. There's no strategy to it, because there's nothing to gain. He's just whining, probably for the sake of attention.

To be fair to Phil though, he seems to only do this on rare occasions, and I think he's gotten a bad wrap due to TV coverage. On the average day, you can probably expect Phil to be a mature player.
