Plagiarism in creative fields is always a big deal (and very difficult to prove).

IMO we need to be using spoiler text when discussing the show before it airs on the east coast at least. IMO this should be the case for shows like The Wire that are available via on demand as well.

In the UK, Channel 4 acquired the rights to screen the series with early reports suggesting new episodes would be screened on that channel with the next episode following straight after on sister channel More4.[9] The show will have its UK premiere in 2007, according to Channel 4.[10]

In Ireland, it was recently announced that TV3 have obtained the rights to broadcast the show, and will be doing so this autumn.

In Canada, the show airs on CTV. Since CTV airs a simulcast of the popular CBS progam CSI: Miami on Mondays at 10:00 PM (EST), it airs Studio 60 on Sundays at 10:00 PM (EST). The series premiere aired on CTV on September 17, 2006, one night before the NBC premiere.
