what's the name of the card game (games??) where you put at least one card face up on your forehead?

looking for some completely fun card games for this weekend.

This would be "Indian Poker". There are tons of "crazy" game variants on poker around. If you do a Google search on "poker variants" you'll find a lot of information.

Sometimes when playing with family, many people have no poker experience so holdem isn't much fun and people in general don't know a straight beats 3 of a kind. So here is a game we call "Hockey" here in Canada.

Here is an example of how the money works. Everybody antes up to build a community pot. Say there are 6 players and you all put in 3 bucks. So there's an $18 pot. Make the minimum bet $0.25 and the max bet $2.00.

Every player is given two cards face up. The first player to act after the dealer makes a bet (or he can fold of course). If he bets, he gets one card. If the card falls between the value of his two cards he wins his bet (goal!). If the card falls outside the range he loses the bet (missed the net!). If he matches one of his two cards he pays double his bet (goalpost!}.

For example K 2 is a pretty good hand. An A will be a miss, a K or 2 will be a goal post and all other cards will be a win. Two cards like 8 4 are obviously not good. A K is the best hand obviously and warrants the max bet.

Here are some other rules. If you have an A, you must declare if it is high or low before you bet and take a card. If you get a pair, you split them and get another card for each of them so you can play two hands for that occasion with separate bets on each, played one at a time.

I hope this explains it clearly. I will monitor if you have questions. I have presented this game becuase it is usually poplular even amongst rank amateurs.

what about blind texas holdem (is that what its called) where you play holdem rules except you dont get to see your own hole cards but your oppoents do and visa versa. This is achieved by holding your hole cards on your forehead....

I havent played it myself but I think I remember Monkeymaker won this novelty event on WSOP once(I saw it in a 3min segment on ESPN ages ago). looked like fun.
