Default Session length

Im playing 2/4 - 5/10 NL SH

And I was wondering how long is your avergae session?

My experience says that aprox 4-5 hours is good, cause then (suspected) edge on villain will show.

WHAT? I think for a reasonable poker player 4-7 hours is enough if you do it every day

Variance is a bitch! Yes, you'll probably notice after observing the villains for 4-5 hrs whether you're better/worse/whatever. However, that doens't mean that you're guarenteed a win/loss in that particular session.

I think I average around 3 hr sessions, obviously I play longer when I'm stuck

Stop beeing idiots and go get yourself a life... Or at least just spend your time at the tables instead of posting ridicules comments like those above.

1-3 hrs although i sometimes fit 2 sessions in a day
3-5 tables
400-600 hands usually

when i lose i quit obviously. if im winning i might be inclined to play a little more but 80%+ of my sessions fit the above criteria

your edge. If you play only 1 hour or so its almost only the strength of your cards that will give you the outcome. But if you play 5 hours your plays etc. will propably give you an advantage if you play on a level you can beat!
