Default Uncomfortable spot with an overpair

No reads, I think I had just sat down. Also if you don't like the flop raise speak up.

It was kind of a cheap showdown/charge draws raise. It also gives me the initiative in a multiway pot in position

I don't see how you can do anything but call here, and call a small bet on the river. Hopefully he is blocking with a smaller pocket pair.

I think I probably raise this because in general it's a lower pp or like some sort of draw wanting to see another card or figure out where he stands. You can call though and re-evaluate on the river though; nothin wrong with that.

flop raise is very standard. on this board there is really no need to raise any more.

Id probably reraise pre, and call this bet.

I'm not sure that folding the flop would be too terrible after the preflop raiser calls the bet.

Agreed. Once you get to the turn, though, call and hope for a non-diamond? Tough spot.
