Default 2/4 -- Interesting AA hand, linecheck on turn/river

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (6 handed) internettexasholdem.com

UTG ($764.60)
MP ($402)
CO ($113.35)
Hero ($720.80)
SB ($1103.10)
BB ($300.70)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG raises to $8, 2 folds, Hero raises to $28, 2 folds, UTG calls $20.

Flop: ($62) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG bets $28, Hero raises to $110, UTG calls $82.

Turn: ($282) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks.

River: ($282) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG bets $32, Hero raises to $250, UTG folds.

Final Pot: $564

Now this guy was 68/6/2 over 70 or so hands. First off, do you like the turn check, given that I picked up the heart draw? Should I be WILLING to go broke on this turn, and thus bet it? Second off, do you like the river raise, despite the fact that the heart draw and 89 both got there on the turn?

Thanks for the help.

I don't see any point in betting the turn. I can't see not raising that river bet too.

I think the only thing that calls you on that river raise is something that has you beat so I would riase less to $180ish trying to get a call.

Why check turn? You've pretty well defined your hand. If you bet, and get check-raised....then consider hearts. I would fire turn for 100, then 150-200 on river. Why are we firing for 250 on river after villian leads for 32? Seems very large to me, not likley to get called. Seems like we're missing some value here

what does this mean, consider hearts. do you fold if you bet and he pushes? if you are planning to fold if that happens, is betting really the best play with this draw, given that we don't really need to "protect our hand" here and we have already built the pot quite a bit?

we're firing for 250 because it's roughly a 3/4 pot sized bet and value is exactly what i'm trying to get. i'm not going to let his silly 1/10th pot bet define how much value i'm going to get on the river -- that's absurd. i agree that the river bet possibly should be smaller, but the fact that he decided to donk for a 1/10th of the pot shouldn't have anything to do with my bet.

I think I like this hand and would do roughly the same thing.

I don't think betting the turn is awful, either. Both lines are OK. Against this particular opponent, I might actually lean slightly toward betting the turn.

I'd bet the turn since you have the Ah. It's much less likely that he is drawing to a flush when you hold the Ace.

I'd be willing to play for stacks on this turn.

Yeah, bet the turn. I don't like the check at all, we dominate his range, and have a back up nut draw incase we're behind.
