Stack sizes? And by complete donkey how aggressive was he? Was he raising prelfop nearly all the time for example? gl dd [/ QUOTE ] we were about even, i had close to 200k, he had just over 200k. by complete donkey i mean he was very aggressive preflop with reasonably weak hands (but kind of predictable), and if there were a multi way pot checked down, he would bet the river with 2nd or 3rd pair some of the time. |

In general, against such a foe, its ok to lowball all your hands, that is, doesnt raise anything preflop but call a fair deal. As you hand happens, then once you call the preflop reraise - which is marginal - the hand plays itself. But in general waiting for flops against poor players is a good way to play HU in a tourney.

I agree, I would play small pots against this guy and just limp this pf. As played, flop is fine.

thank you, both of you, probably sound advice in keeping the pot small and waiting to hit your hand before pwning a weak villain.
