Response about the Firepay fees
I made a withdrawel back in June and was charged a $10 fee. I'm OK with that. If I want to pay a fee for using their service that's my choice. The problem I have with them is that I asked for a clarification on when the fee would be charged. After numerous emails back and forth, here is their final response....
Hi XXXXX, Thank you for your inquiry. We have reviewed your accoount in order to better assist you in this matter. As previously instructed, the last deposit that we have on record that you made from your bank account into your FirePay account was on 10th December 2005. Since then, you have been receiving payouts and cashouts from various merchants into your FirePay account. Due to this reason, when you have requested withdrawals, you have been charged a $10.00 fee for making the transfer from your FirePay account back to your bank account. In order to benefit from free withdrawals, you must use your FirePay account for more than receiving funds from the merchant. You will need to continually fund your account and make purchases at participating merchant sites. Unfortunately, we cannot specifically advise you of the details of how regularly you need to fund and spend through your account in order to avail of free withdrawals. If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. Best Regards, Hervé Supervisor To me, this is the unacceptable part of the fee. |

Re: Response about the Firepay fees
I agree it is lame that they wont tell you how the fee is applied. But...
Every once and a while do a cash out and re-deposit. I do this for bonus purposes and never have been hit with a Firepay fee for withdrawing to my bank account. |

Re: Response about the Firepay fees
Other locked thread here on Firepay fees.
This definitely doesn't specifically relate to legislation. Take it to the Zoo or etc if you want to discuss their fees, we don't need the clutter right now... |
