Default Bellagio 30/60 fun T7s hand

Pretty good game. Button in this hand is a bit overaggro preflop with his open raises, but seems straightforward and maybe a bit tight postflop. He seems to be a thinking player.

Folded to button who raises, I call in the SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Gonores folds in the BB.

Flop is K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I checkraise, button calls.

Turn is the A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I bet, button raises, and I 3bet without much hesitation.

You likey?

What UI rivers are you betting? What UI rivers are you check-folding?

If you think he will sometimes raise with nothing on the turn or will sometimes fold a weak ace I like it. If you have a bad image then I don't like it.

I can't imagine he's folding too many better hands on the river if he's calling the turn. I think if he calls you have to give up UI.

My image is usually very solid, as was the case at this point. At this point I was up about a rack so that helps.

Fold preflop.

Just call turn raise.

I would have check/called or checkraised the turn depending on recent history, my mood, my image, etc. As played I think you should give up if you don't improve and value bet any improvement but this is Vegas so if you tell me he would fold AJ on the river if you follow through I'll believe you.

While you have an excellent image to make this type of play, it is more suited to work against someone like me than the chessmaster. He is a thinking player, but also seems like someone who can't wait to call and show a loser to show you how unlucky he is. If he calls the turn, hand over, check fold. For the record, I love the play to test him. It is likely he is simply representing.

The turn checkraise is probably fine, though if he calls he's probably not folding the river.
