Default Donking with K high

10/20 4 handed.

button seems to be a multitabling TAG. SB is unknown.

button opens, sb calls, I call in big with KQo.

Flop is 664r. sb checks, I bet...

Thoughts?

I'd show down UI against button's range np, so the question is what to do about SB. TAG probably won't raise and knock him out with a worse hand and c/ring the field is asking for all sorts of trouble, so... I like a check and peel. On the turn you can check again if you whiff and either see how the other two players act or get a free card. Either of those two results seems good.

I think by taking the initiative here you're just setting up all sorts of problems later on in the hand.

I would check, if the action goes button bets, SB folds I would call and donk the turn. If SB calls I either call and hope for a cheap river or just fold the flop.

dont you think betting the flop has a better chance of getting sb to fold than checking and letting button bet?

also, dont you think the flop+turn bet has a better chance of getting button off ace high then the check/call donk.

i think A hi is coming here, at least for one bet, opens u up to a bluff raise, similar hand posted a few days ago. donking shouldnt get u anywhere cept maybe w/ teh SB depending on the buttons action, bottem line, most the time ure going to have at least one opponent coming, u may not have position on him the rest of hand and if you do you are probably behind and drawing thin. i like cc and donk - maximizes folding equity and doesnt set u up to be outplayd as much.

Only if the button raises

If the button raises the flop are you donking the turn again? IMO the flop check-call, turn donk is a little scarier than the lead flop and turn line and will have better success at folding out an Ace high hand. You will also save half a bet the times button or SB does have a real hand.

Another option to think about is if you check, button bets and SB calls you can checkraise to represent a real strong hand. That's a little more risque though.
