Default analyzing stud/8, where to start?

HORSE - 7 Card Stud High-Low ($0.50/$1.00), Ante $0.05, Bring-In $0.25 (converter)

The only way I know how to separate bad play from good in stud/8 is the willingness to play for 1 end of the pot. Pretty much everyone I play with falls into that trap in the split games on horse, so thats the only read I have. (any other significant mistakes to look out for?)

Total pot: (20.30 BB)

If I had to change the way I played this hand, I probably would've wanted to raise 3rd, not 3bet 6th, and c/c the river based on action/board on 6th

Looks like you already figured out what you did wrong. I don't completely fault your late aggression though because 3 fours are gone, and 46 is what you are scared he has. Still he may have more ways to scoop than you do, so just call the raise on 6th.

I think Seat 5 raising on 6th street tells me he has a made 7-low. You have to decide whether your aces are good enough to win the high, but i doubt it. I wouldn't 3-bet 6th. Simply call and call (or fold) on 7th.

I would only call the raise on sixth and I would check the river. Third street is worth a raise but I lean towards calling.
