It's not a great card, but it mostly just means you're now losing to AJ, AT, AQ, and QT. You're still beating JT and QJ, but I'm not crazy about your chances now.

I guess I'd bet-fold? He'll probably fold 77 at this point. Which you're beating, but do you really want to pay 2 bets to get to showdown?

It's mainly the murky outs you have relative to the pot size that makes the situation annoying. And I'm not really fond of any of your options here.

I guess check-calling followed by a check-fold UI if Villain bets again on the river is another consideration.

You're headsup with 2nd pair medium kicker.

What's the problem? He didn't even raise preflop and is an unknown.

Yeah, fine, but we don't have a clear best play here. Every possibility has its drawbacks.

C/c, c/f is ridiculous imo.

I don't know why you think that card is so bad for us. We don't know anything about the guy and he is probably as afraid for the Ace as we are.

Okay, bet then. I do think that's probably best.

Anyway, though, we got cold-called preflop and then called on a broadway flop. And, sure, Villain could have 3's for the nut-low underpair or T9o for the ass-end gutshot, but that turn card improves some other hands he could have, and I'm not entirely happy.

I also think the pot size happens to be annoying, given our murky outs if we're behind.

It's not as if it's a great situation, from this point in the hand on. We can bet-fold, but then usually we'll either win what's in the pot already or get raised and fold knowing we may have had sufficient outs or get called and wonder what the hell to do on the river.

Meh. I probably bet here and just pray I don't get raised. Against an unknown I think it might be ok to Bet/call, then C/F river UI.

If we're just called on the turn, I think we just have to bet again on the river. He's not gonna fold any pair at that point, but will bet anything that beats us.

I can't see any reason not to bet here. Villain's preflop play indicates that he may be a donkey. Therefore I continue betting until I have reason to stop.

Just because someone cold-called preflop and called a flop bet on a KJ2 flop does not always mean he has an ace in his hand.

This is a pretty easy bet IMO. You can't c/c, c/f because your turn check shows a lot of weakness and you fold the best hand a lot.

He cc'd on the button so let's take out AK here. I think a lot of players at this level may just call you with Ax on this turn. I think i like bet/fold, as you were the pfr.

Seems like an easy bet/fold to me, esp. since we're heads up.
