Default Senate Ajournment Date

On senate.gov, it looks like October 6th. Does the anti-gambling bill have to be passed by then?

If it's not passed, can it be brought up in the next session?

Default Re: Senate Ajournment Date

Berge, probably best to lock this thread.

Blip, welcome to the Legislation Forum. You've asked a good question, but one that has been addressed before many times. See the FAQ and also try the search function please. The short answer is that the Senate will likely adjourn a week from today (Sep 29) and then reconvene after the elections for a brief "lame duck" session to finish up "must pass" bills. Any bills that do not pass this year will have to start over in 2007.
