The other thread on Party's now canceled promo spurred this question for me.
I searched the forum for the past year and nothing came up, I haven't really seen anything posted so I thought I'd ask two pretty simple questions. What is Party's edge in their blackjack game exactly? What would the effect of having 20% rakeback (on total wagered, what the affiliates get) be on it? Thanks |

I think I read a .55% advantage somewhere, although I'm not 100% sure.

Affiliates do not get 20% of total wagered. They get 20% of the theoretical loss on total wagered. I'm not sure what value Party uses for theoretical loss, but I'd guess it's in the .5% range, possibly lower for their single deck game. So I'd guess the affiliate is being paid roughly .1% of your total action.
Note that whether you win or lose has no effect on the affiliate's income. (someone will read this and post that I'm wrong. I would ask them to read party's affiliate website before doing so) |

Cool thanks. I knew it was probably too good to be true.

Without having played it my guess would be in the -0.5% range as well.
you can plug in the rules for the Party BJ game at wiardofodds.com and get a more precise answer. It would be interesting to learn what kind of 'theoretical' loss Party gives for your blackjack pay. Do other sites give the affiliates some MGR percentage for BJ or other casino play? I'm thinking specifically of interpoker/intercasino where I recently cleared a whole buncha-buncha leftover bonus via BJ. I get 25 or 30% or something in the poker-room there but don't think I got anything for my BJ play. |
