Hero calls. This is your spot. Your cards aren't going to get any better any time soon and the blinds are going to eat you for lunch. Here's a nice spot you have as semi decent hand and you and CO heads up..take it push it.

The other players have a TON of chips, they can wait you out to the point where your raises become meaningless with the blinds so large.

![]() Pretty solid rep, with the stacks in play from that seat forward. I suspect he'd have to be raising pretty wide to make this a push over. With your read, it's probably not enough. |

I knew this was -EV and I knew he had me beat. Damn it.
The blinds were going up and the table was so loose that I knew nobody would ever fold to my pushes. Guess I fell in love with my hand. Damn. He had AJo What do you do when you are short and nobody is tight enough to make pushing with marginal hands +EV and half the time, they limp preventing you from pushing these marginal hands anyway? |

There is nothing you can do. If you can't push people out then you just have to find your hand to make a stand with. It won't be aces because they're not coming. This hand was decent enough, you have the ace and a flush draw, so you had a chance. It's either this or wait for your aces while the blinds chew you and your chip stack is so low that you'll have multiple people in the hand. It's your choice.

I think stop and go is better than pushing, but I still fold. Ugh.

I hear you thehun69 and I tend to feel the same, but I think we have to defer to SNGPT and it disagrees (it laughed and called me a donkey).
Anybody else go for a stop and go given the table dynamics? I may need to add that to my arsenal. |

The pot will be 1400 and you will be pushing 315. Fold this hand and push any two if it is open folded to you on the next or the one after. |
