I would put reading anything Syd Vicious has to say about the Bush Administration on par with a Joseph Goebbels tract on the Jews. Both are so filled with hatred that they are unlike to be of any use but to the already converted.

Ridiculous statement. Syd Blumenthal, while partisan, is not a crazed hatemonger with no tether to reality. His historical analyses are reasoned and often thought-provoking, and he has regard for facts

The reason I'd be dismissive of the Guardian because of their attempted involvement with our elections.
