Default \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (9/20) (10-20 NL)

Tonight's show is the standard game for Friday night, 10-20 NL (at the usual 10pm ET time) as the games have been smaller than usual this week. One positive is that Corp. Mike will be in the game as he had business in the casino and decided to play in the game. In other LATB news, no one has found the other archived episode Jamie Gold was in (not including 10/12), so the $100 is still out there for whomever's interested. Bart noted that in this other episode, he was in the game for about an hour.

Edit: Frank Mariani and "That's" Alan are also in tonight's game.

The way I'm running it might be more EV+ to search every Live at the Bike episode for Jamie Gold for the $100 than play in a cash game.

I'm sure you can narrow down the search, I'd guess it's either a Wednesday or Friday show. If it was before 10/12, you may need to throw in some Saturday shows too.

First they(women) take over the sideline reporting in Football(and ruined it), now they(same women) will bring the world of poker down.
On a side note, I predict Jaime Gold to be dead before the next WSOP ME. Cause of death is either a)Suicide or b)Death by tranny hooker.

Barry has the best win rate that's for sure 9 hands for $2500 wasn't it.

Train, I don't think Phill Hellmuth is disliked by the poker community at all. I've read in DN's blog and heard elsewhere that away from the table Phil is a great guy and the fact that he is a bit of a live one in a cash game probly doesn't hurt his likeablity either.

Gold won the most, in a cockier way than any other previous winner, and his honorability is being questioned by everyone, something that is a no-no in the 'poker community'.

Might Alan's river bluff seem suspicious because he is only calling along the whole way and then all of a sudden Alan makes a big bet? Has Alan ever overbet the river when he hit a big hand?

Default Ragging on Tourney Poker?

Just tuned in to hear Dave ragging on it.

Gold's version of trash talking, one could argue?

The #'s of players is taking tourney poker into the BINGO realm of gambling, almost.

Tournament savvy folks might argue that those #'s are a blessing, although I'd guessimate that average tourney player is now gettting quite a bit FEWER cashes then they did a few years ago, good and bad...
