Full Tilt $11 Turbo, Big Blind is t30 (9-handed)
UTG (t1350) UTG+1 (t1470) MP1 (t1500) MP2 (t1500) MP3 (1470) Hero (t1530) Button (t1710) SB (t1470) BB (1500) Preflop: Hero is in CO with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG raises to t60, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls t60, 2 folds, Hero calls t60, Button folds, SB calls t45, BB folds Flop: (t270) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players) SB bets t30, UTG folds, MP1 calls t30, Hero raises to t200, SB calls t170, MP1 calls t170 Turn: (t870) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, MP1 checks, Hero ...? No reads on anyone. 1) Is the call ok preflop? There's a UTG min-raise and a random MP call, so I think I can call for set value in favorable position. 2) What's my line on the flop? In retrospect, I think I need to raise a bit more, but I'm not sure. 3) What do I do with the turn? The T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] doesn't look that scary (I'm a lot more afraid of a 4 or 9 here)... but what should I lead out with? A standard bet doesn't leave you enough to get away from a scary card on the river. Thanks. |

Folding is fine too. [ QUOTE ] 2) What's my line on the flop? In retrospect, I think I need to raise a bit more, but I'm not sure. [/ QUOTE ] I think youre right about raising more, especially with more than one opponent still in the pot. I probably make it ~300 here. [ QUOTE ] 3) What do I do with the turn? Theres a chance one of them has a straight, but you have lots of outs if so. You take down a sizeable pot a lot of times. You get called by idiots with weird random stuff a lot of times. With so many draws, any other play doesnt make sense to me. |
