Paradise points "bonus" - what are they for?

i got an email earlier from Paradise telling me how appreciated a player i am and how much they miss me skulking round the tables so they're gonna give me a whopping 1000 free points for depositing $50 this weekend.

what are these points for? can i get anything even remotely close to valuable with them?

I got the same email. I know you can use them to enter freerolls, but I think that's it. The last time I checked, they didn't even offer Paradise swag.

I got the same email. I thought they were offering me 1K bonus clearing points. Dang.

I got a 2000 points for $100 deposit offer. Don't know if i'll be taking advantage of it since i'm not really a tournament player.

I got the same email....but the bonus code didn't show up in the email..... ??? wonder what it is.

The bonus should have read "Hello member, I'm sure you are aware that our CEO has been arrested and we are aware that many members are pulling money out of their accounts fearing we will be shutting down. As such, we would like to have lots of new money in to cover all these withdrawals. So please deposit $50 in our site. Thank you".

Looks like the arrest will not impact the site but the perception has bitten them none the less.

However I can't see a code in my email either.....

Edit: When I hit reply to email support the code was there on the reply portion of the email.
