Default Biggest Poker Game at Your School

Title pretty much says it all. The standard game at my school is a NLHE $5 buy-in with .5/.10 blinds. There are also a lot of $5 tournaments. The biggest game I ever played in was a $1/$2 NLHE game put together by some football players.

I go to Juniata College, which is in central PA.

I believe the $1-2 NL game at Duke was uncapped and ran pretty big, but I never actually played in it. Strasser or technologic or schifty would know better.

I go to Auburn. Biggest i've played in was .25/.50 NL with $50 cap on buyin. I was at bar last night though and a friend told me he was playing 2/5 NL with about 8 others and got robbed. Robber got away with somewhere around 10-12k and a couple rolexes. Apparently the 2/5 NL game was just a few rich kids from ATL that didn't give a [censored] about money.

Same thing here. Mostly $5 NL cash games and $10 tournies. One thing I find very funny: this guy joined my schools facebook poker group and posts this: "This is a serious challenge from myself and one Robin Gainer. We will play any of you heads up, anytime, in NL or Limit Holdem for anything up to $3,500. Put up or shut up, bitches." Just wanted to share this guys retardation with you.

3-4 years ago, we had 2-3 tables going nightly. That's what got me into poker. .50/1 limit, 1/2 limit, .50/1 bling NL, and occasionally a rare higher stakes, like maybe 3/6. The stakes were good, but no one brought alot of money. I remember one 3/6 where I literally one all the money at the table. It was 3/6, but I still only made something like $200.

Biggest game I've played at my school (university of Ne-Lincoln) was a .50/1 NLHE game.
