No strong reads, just that villian was not a regular and seemed normal.

I really doubt you are ahead on this one. If he was a LAGtard I would definitely call. As it is, you may have to call because of the odds you are getting, but I wouldn't be excited about it.

Why not check river and call a reasonable bet?
Gets you to showdown a lot cheaper.

Betting is way better then checking and calling. This is micro limit 101 [censored] here.

You are [censored] if you check and call. He will check behind with all the hands he would have called a bet with and will own you when he has you beat.

I'm fairly sure you're supposed to check mediocre holdings on the river (which is exactly what this is at this point).

Nothing's going to want to call anymore once that flush card hits. Did you see the flush there?

I like a cheap showdown after Jc hits. I don't see many hands behind you calling a river bet here but I think plenty will stab at this.

I like a small blocking bet on the river. If you're raised you can fold.
