Default 100NL Trying to shake off weak-tight mode

Here are a few hands from my last session that, after review, I wasnt too sure of my lines.

Hand 1 :

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Button ($110.55)
SB ($48.10)
Hero ($177.30)
UTG ($236.99)
MP ($124.55)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.50.
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Button calls $1, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $3</font>, Button calls $3.

Flop: ($8.50) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $8.1</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $24</font>, Hero calls $15.90.

Turn: ($56.50) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $83</font> (puts Button all-in), Button folds.

Final Pot: $139.50

In this hand I figured villain could be raising with a flush draw, AT, AQ, QT or a set and a big push on the turn might well get him to fold the majority of those hands. Even if he does have a set/straight, I can still fill up on the river.

Hand 2 :

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP ($51.28)
Hero ($124.74)
SB ($58.17)
BB ($6.64)
UTG ($53.10)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.50.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises to $4</font>, Hero calls $4, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>.

Flop: ($9.50) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP bets $4</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $16.5</font>, MP calls $12.50.

Turn: ($42.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
MP checks, Hero bets 36$ to put MP all-in.

River: ($42.50) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

Final Pot: $42.50
Villain here was about 40/20 so I figured it was quite likely he whiffed on the flop. On the turn, I thought he either had a flush or an overpair and would fold the latter to a big bet.

Hand 3 :

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Hero ($99)
BB ($138.27)
UTG ($19.95)
MP ($124.84)
Button ($48.50)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $0.50.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP calls $1, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero (poster) raises to $4</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP calls $3.50.

Flop: ($10) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $9.5</font>, MP calls $9.50.

Turn: ($29) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $20</font>, MP calls $20.

River: ($69) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, MP checks.

Final Pot: $69

Villain here was abour 35/8. I figured id get more value out of missed draws making a desperation bet on the river than in betting again, especially since even fish wont often call down big bets with a pair as low as 6s or 8s.

Hand 4 :

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP ($99.13)
Hero ($126.45)
SB ($42.86)
BB ($110.12)
UTG ($47.60)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.50.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP calls $1, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $5</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, BB calls $4, MP folds.

Flop: ($11.50) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $10.95</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to $21.9</font>, Hero calls $10.95.

Turn: ($55.30) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets $23</font>, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $78.30

Villain was 30/10. I was planning to push a safe turn. With the T falling however, I just didnt think 1 pair was good often enough here. Anyone continues here?

hand 1 is fugly. i wouldnt call the flop raise with no reads

hand 2 you seriously want fold equity vs a 40/20 guy?

hand 3 seems standardish. with 1 limper i make it $5 preflop. I dont like betting $9.5 into what i assume was a $9.5 pot post rake. You know if you fire $7 its all the same.

hand 4 seems fine. again tho you need 2-1 on your cberts when you missed fot cbetting to be breakeven. just looks ugly to me

hand 1:

Raise more on the blinds, show him that you have a good hand and he will have to hit something really good if he call! Raise something like 5$.

Your opponent didnt had raise on button, so I really dont think that he can have AT, AQ, QT, KJ or a set. He probably have the flush draw, Ax and he test your hand or maybe, maybe QT if its a passive guy preflop. So, with that in mind, you probably have to push on flop! but the call and push on turn is not too bad... but you let him a free card for his flush draw...

Its sure that with a read on your opponent it will be easier to play...

Hand 2:

I didnt really agree with your line here... you wanted to make him fold on flop? A 40vpip guy will not fold a lot of hand here. He can have any poket, any pair, or any better flush draw than yours, so your play is probably EV-... but im not 100% sure

hand 3:

Make it 5$ to go preflop

I bet 7-8$ on flop too

What are the vilain stats post flop? Against someone who never fold fold and never raise on the river, maybe its ok to bet a little bit for value... But Ill probably check call here

hand 4:

you beat his possibly QQ JJ TT A9 QT 76 78 on flop, but also the most important: the flush draw.

Im pretty sure that you have to raise on that flop! The flop is heavy drawing and you beat a lot of hand who will call you if you raise hard, make him pay!!! only 99 88 98 and 66 beats you on that flop, its not a lot comparatively to all the hands you beat.
