Default K5o blind battle

Villain in this hand is your standard issue TAG 6max player. I have noted on him that he properly plays middle pairs during steals, value betting when on a steal and playing WA/WB correctly when defending.

Assuming he never folds any ace > A4 on the flop there are 80 ace combos and 55 pocket pair combos (22-KK, minus QQ and 55). It seems reasonable to think he'd play either of these hands this way.

Biggest reason to bet turn here is because u want him to fold a hand with outs. If he calls u are behind most of the time. That isnt a valuebet, is it? Its a bet, trying to protect your small pair against JT, KJ, KT, etc.

Personally I think its a very thin one. If this TAG is known to bluff if we show weakness on turn and if our Hero is known to check a turn like this without a hand and capable of a laydown on river, I would prefer inducing a bluff/hoping to catch up.

I check this turn almost always. You've got a small pot where free cards aren't killer and a scary card hitting which will often put you behind in the hand and may allow your opponent to bluff you with a worse one becase of it. Check it and hope to induce river bluffs.
