fold. You're not quite getting the implied odds needed to make flopping a set worth it.

It's sooooo weird how different things are when you play on partypoker. On PokerStars this is a clear call at this level. On PP instamuck.

And it's good to know, as this is a big, important difference. I don't have much experience at either site at those levels, but am looking to start, so would you be so kind as to elaborate a little? |

Re: (22) - Sanity Check on 99 against a raise
Well you're playing the 22s and you start with 800 in chips. If you play the 16 turbos on PS, which is the comparable level, you start with 1500. And there's one less player to knock out to the money. You have a lot more play, especialy IN position. Your main goal is to make it to the bubble. And it's very hard to do with the amount of chips they give you. I can't play on party at the 11,22,33 limit for this reason. At the 55s they give you 1000...which still isn't great. You just need to play sooooooo much tighter on PP, because of the lack of play they give you.
If I have my 1500 stack and it's level 2 on PS, I would call a raise to 100 or even 120 if I felt my OP had a big pair, and I was in position. |
