Safe to use wired and/or wireless on campuses?

Is it generally safe to use wired/wireless internet on campuses? I.e. using neteller, playing poker, typing in passwords, etc.?

If not, why? Workarounds? Precautions?

it is just as safe as any other normal internet connection. Just be reasonable.

you're fine.. theres so many connections and information going through a school's server its close to impossible for anything shady to happen.

sometimes you do get laggy using wireless though, so make sure you're in a good connection spot.

It's probably safer than any internet connection you use outside of your house.
