I need help with this - overpair 5/10 6max
Villain is tight aggressive regular 22-9 seems to be very good. No other things to consider as we just started playing (I double up with set vs nothing just a hand before).
What's THE plan here ? is 3betting flop better ? Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font> CO ($2991.50) Button ($613) SB ($1049) BB ($210.25) Hero ($2067) MP ($1000) Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $5. <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $35</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, SB (poster) calls $30, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>. Flop: ($80) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font> SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $55</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $175</font>, Hero calls $120. Turn: ($430) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font> <font color="#CC3333">SB bets $427</font> Final Pot: $857 I am really lost in this spot. If I pot the flop instead small bet and Villain checkraises does it change the situation ? Best wishes |

Re: I need help with this - overpair 5/10 6max
Hmmmmm...... tough one. He might have QQ/KK or big draw cause you don't have the A of clubs. He could eaisly have a set or JT. Even an 8,9 for turned pair/oesd. This is really player dependant for me. I tend to tick people off or stay away from them. If this is someone I've been staying away from I give up on turn. If this is someone I've ticked off I push turn.

It looks like you are beat. From my experience, big pot sized bets and raises on party nl 1000 are usually the goods.
