oppinion needed NL KK preflop , scary flop

Pre-flop: (5 players) Remoras is BB with :kc :kh
UTG raises to $20, 3 folds, Remoras calls $16 (pot was $26).

Flop: :5c :qd :tc ($42, 2 players)
Remoras checks, UTG bets $40, Remoras raises to $80, UTG raises all-in $196.36, Remoras calls $116.36 (pot was $318.36).

Turn: :3h ($434.72, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $434.72)

River: :7c ($434.72, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $434.72)



Hi, we are having this argument on our board as to wether or not the call was bad, we would very much appreciate to have your opinion and more important reasons why it was bad or good...how do you calculate this one, what do you need to take into account?

I can agree on the actions, but the question is , is the call ok , if so why, if not why ?

well I didnt play the hand myself, I just feel the call after the flop is bad , even with 3-1 on your call there are too many draws / hands that beat you.. flush is out there, 2 possible straights + draws to full house.

I just cannot quantify it.. can anyone either explain me if I'm right and why or the reverse?

I don't like the cold call PF OOP, or the min c/r but the call of the 3-bet on the flop is the easiest call in history. Think how many of these you need to win. Without looking deeply, you are even getting odds if villian has QT aren't you? He would have to have precicely AA,QQ,TT or 55 for the call to be bad.

I think u have to call here just because ur hand is so concealed theres no way he can put u on a hand as big as KK so he could easily be pushing with KQ AQ type hands. As for getting it in vs straight draws why would u not want to do this?

of course the call is okay! doing otherwise would be foolish. you have a disguised overpair against a shortstack with ~50BB! wtf is the question here?
