Default 28k hand checkup (25NL) also need help with 50NL

i deposited again onto party on the 20th of july, and it's been a month since i deposited.

i ran well, and hit 1000 from 100 in about a week 4 tabling 25NL, and moved up to 50NL. but i ran bad and went down to 700 or so. i rebuilt back at 25NL to 1000 and moved to 50NL again. and yet again ran bad and went back down to 800 or so. ever since then i've stayed at 25NL. i have been gettin worse beats at 50NL but i can't seem to consistently beat 50NL as i have been doing with 25NL.

here are my stats for 25NL

any tips for 50NL, my stats are very similar for 15k hands at 50NL with 25NL

oh and i currently 6 table 25NL 6 max on party

another edit: my winrate for 50NL is -.97/100 for 15k hands, so a loss of 144 dollars, i know it's only 3 buy in's but my graph is VERY rollar coastery, i always lose a buy in, then lose it, win it, lose it, win it, lose it, etc.

This is standard for 6max. Are all of your hands at 6max? You should import them as 6max in PT :P

i'm not sure if it means anything or not, but we have almost identical stats save for two things: i'm 22/14 vs you 26/15 and my bet/check after a pfr is 66/10 and yours is 40/35. i'll soon be moving to 50 so i'm interested to see what others have to say

how has it been when you cbet after a preflop raise? i usually get mincheckraised a lot, forcing me to lay it down.

when this happens in 50NL for some reason i always play back, maybe that's where i'm spewing a lotta chips. but anyways can you tell me the progress of your 50NLing? also what's your winrate for 25NL over how many hands?

When I moved up to NL 50, I started with a $1500 bankroll, not a $1000. I believe this helped cusion the eary downswings that I expierenced so that I didn't have to move back down. Also, I was doing/expeiencing the same things that you are. It seemed everytime I was C-Betting, I was getting minraised and I would play back. I would also fire 3 barrels a lot of the time. Basically I was spewing A LOT of chips.

What helped me was that I took a little more of a TAG approach until I was comfortable with the new level. And as I started winning more consistently, I've opened my game up more and more.

i'm at 13 ptbbs over 13.7k hands. i'm going to play another 1300 hands at 25nl and then move to 50nl. i've played ~900 hands so far at 50nl and havent really noticed a difference. i'd rather get minraised on the flop and have some idea where i stand than give up the initiative and be clueless after i check the flop and get bet into on the turn. initiative + the fact that 2/3 and 3/4 psbs take down a silly amount of pots on the flop make it worth it to me. i'm trying to play nl after playing a year or so of limit, which is probably why i cbet so much.

You will get check-minraised more as you move up. Basically, the donks love the check-minraise if they flop any kind of a hand/draw, and think you are on unimproved overs, because they think it's a cheap way to figure out if their pair is good or to get you to lay down overs if they're drawing.

If I have any sort of hand (mid pair or better) I always call the c-min-raise, and rarely 3-bet. They will almost always play very straightforward and check the turn with their weaker hands. In those cases I bet my strong hands, and check my moderate ones (while mixing it up a bit too).

I only worry about c-min-raises from 2p2-like players, and in general always look for an excuse to float these retarded bets.

mm, sounds like good advice, i don't think i've ever called the mincheckraise as a float. i usually let it go if i do with overs, but i'll try that out.
