Best single thing you've eaten in the past week

Not a meal, just a single item/dish.

Mine was dessert at Neecha Thai. Sweet black sticky rice w/ coconut ice cream. My dinner companies had the rice w/ mango and the rice w/ Thai custard. Those were pretty good too, but I liked my version the best.

Second place is Tofu Krob at the same place. Fried tofu w/ fried onions and basil in sweet chili paste.

nice juicy steak tenderly cooked medium-rare out on our grill. served with a loaded baked potato and a salad. mmm.

bread pudding at harvest. the scallops were fantastic too.

i have yet to eat a better dessert, and i eat a lot of it. it handily bested the flourless chocolate cake i had yesterday, for example.

They had some nice fresh fruit at the farmers' market this weekend. I had some pastry dough in the freezer. I made some super-easy tartlets that were very tasty.
