This all seems real standard. Opponent probably has a hand like AT, QJ, Q9s, JTs. I would value bet the river.

Looks like he has some random weak hand with a club. Depending on how wiley he is you can check / fold a river club sometimes and should value bet pretty much everything else.

Never mind, I didn't notice that the flop was monotone. Scratch my previous reply. I would still value bet the river, though. I'd probably also have capped the flop.

i think geormiet played it poorly, I think he should have capped the flop, or donked the turn. but he can't risk a free card there.

I think geormiet played this hand fine. I think donking the K turn would be pretty bad because the K is a horrible card for us and villain will probably bet worse hands a good amount of the time anyway.

I also don't like capping the flop. A solid tag 3bet us preflop and then 3bet our flop checkraise. Yea he could have a big club, but if he does he probably has a boatload of outs anyway and our equity isn't great. He could easily have us crushed with a hand like KcQ, AA, etc. We're usually slightly ahead or way behind.

Donking a good turn is much better than capping the flop, but i think calling the flop 3bet and checking even a good turn is fine as well. I think you people are too concerned with free cards

FL: sensible stuff, but one thing to consider is that if we cap villain may decline to raise without improvement if he does have a better hand, so capping will often be a good way to make sure the ideal number of bets go in the pot.
