Found a finger-length sliver of wood in my pizza. Now what?
It's about the size of a toothpick, but it's not a toothpick. It was under the cheese and toppings. Judging by the blackened parts, I'd say this thing was baked in.
I can't think of any logical explanation for how it would've got there (I don't think it was deliberate, I'm a generous tipper). Worse, I don't know what to do next. I hate the idea of confronting the store with it. They'll naturally presume I'm some sort of scammer, looking to get over on them. I don't WANT anything from them. I wasn't damaged in any way.

These things happens. I once found a pig's tooth in a club sandwich. The cofee shop apologized and replaced the sandwich and that was it.
Gross though.

If you dont want anything from them don't bother telling them. It's not like this is something that is happening to all their customers that they should know about. It's a freak occurence.

I was with some friends and we arrived to the conclusion that's that it was. Can't remember exactly why, guess somebody knew about that stuff. Could have been the tooth of another animal for what I know.

I pretty much found half a stalk in a can of green beans last week. It was long enough to stick out of the juice at the top of the can.
There's really nothing to be done. If you tell the shop, even if you're totally cool about it, they'll think you're lying/a whiny prick. No way around it. Be glad you didn't swallow it and move on.
