Default Ak - I have no idea how to play NL

No reads. My total hands in NL is less than 300. I have no reads since this is second hand at the table.

How do I play this turn? I think I can easily have 10 outs here. Does this kind of push means he has the nuts or that he is FOS?

Turn call is marginal.

River's an easy fold IMO w/o reads. He probably has AJ or a set or something.

given the added straight draws, I'll often take another stab at the turn. Probably bet 15.

this hand is bad.. AKo is not a hand u wanna see flops with... (out of position)

raise more PF .. you dont wanna see a flop at all.. i'd say.. $8

i'd c-bet the flop then shut it off the rest of the hand.

muck the turn
fold river

You don't like to see a flop so you raise more?

I can't even begin to describe how exploitable this "strategy" is.

I'd be more than happy to see a flop with AK when my opponents call with worse hands.

Pot the flop, c/f turn (or 2/3 pot it, c/c is bad), as played fold river.

An Ace is not a clean river out. You are crushed by villain's range and on the river your hand becomes a bluff catcher (though that may a little overstated).

In NL, assuming villain has some semblance of a hand when he shoves is a good rule of thumb. Sure, you will occasionally see push bluffs like this, but more often than not it is a made hand of some type.

I actually like a 25-30 blocking bet.

pf fine, flop fine, fold turn, fold river.

Position is king in NL. If you had position this hand would play completely differently. As it is, when he hangs around after the flop it's just a hand to get away from.
