Default New to SNGWIZ(similar to SNGPT) ..this hand advice makes no sense?!

Was playing around going through some hand histories today, trying to figure out this whole science behind calling/pushing ranges and stuff, and I found this somewhat surprising...

me (t1965)
someone (t3630) - calling with 15%
somebody (t4140) - calling with 15%
somebodyelse (t3765) - calling with 15%

blinds 100/200

Apparently, I should only be pushing 5.9% of hands here (88+, AQ+, AJs+). Surely this is too tight since even an ace in the cutoff is pretty big? same with 77 and less?! Isn't waiting for the range suggested going to result in being blinded down to the floor until you get a hand like this, and if you are lucky enough to find one of these premium hands, you will have so few chips left that doubling up means nothing to your equity of the prizepool?

Please explain how your normal thinking supports the analysis of sngwiz. Does sngpt say the same? Am i just not using the program properly? Or am i really being too loose with my pushes when i have 10BB 4 handed? is 66 in the cutoff no good? 77 no good? A10 no good?! Somewhat surprising results that I obviously haven'tbeen following in my sng games.

Any explanations appreciated. Thanks.

In my opinion, one of the biggest flaws of this forum is panicing when you get to 10xBB. Your stack is still healthy enough. You don't need to be pushing weak aces there.

Blinds are too small and your stack is too big to be pushing looser than the range it gives you.

You shouldn't be letting yourself get blinded off, you should be stealing from better spots than the CO. I'm a little surprised it's that tight, but with three people calling 15% of the time behind you, you're getting called about 40% of the time. A weak A isn't going to stack up nicely against the range that's calling you, either, so not having those in your range makes sense. I think this is probably reasonable.

Yeah off the top of my head that range seems about right to me. 10BB with 4 players left, you really need to tighten up. The enemy calling ranges are looser than optimal for this stage of the game, so your Nash Equilibrium pushing range I suspect would be (66,AT,A8s).

Remember though, you still have 10BBs and have 3 players you must fold through. The chance that they will all fold given there percentages is only 60%. Much better to be pushing anything with 6 BB as SB than trying to push here with really loose enemy.

I don't find this suprising at all. You need to tighten up much more than one expects in the cutoff, IMO, generally speaking.

In any case, it is quite rare at least in the speeds that it is 4 handed in the 200 BB level.

1) If all 3 people fold, you only win 15% of your stack
2) If someone calls you, you stand to lose everything.
3) There are 3 people that can call you
4) There are 2 people that may call TWO of you.
(This is something that SNG Wiz handles that SNGPT doesn't and it does make a noticable difference sometimes.)

The reward is not great, the risk could be.

15% is a bit loose - 33+,A7o+,A4s+,KTs+

id say more like 8% ish. 66+,AT+

with the first two at 8% and the BB at 9% you can push 77+,AJo+,ATs+

looks right to me

Haha yeah me too. When I first learnt about the 10xBB push rule, and then it's like, [censored] better push, I've got less than 10BB and no one's entered the pot.
