Default high pocker pair facing possible trips and overcard

i'm confused where i went wrong here if you guys will help me in this 5c-10c very loose limit game

i'm on button w/ J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. checked to 3rd position who raises. 4th calls along with 3 others and i raise. my raise is called by 6 players. flop comes 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
1st position bets out and it is called by 2 others in mp and i call. pot size now 15 big bets.
Should i have raised or folded here, i believe this i my first mistake.
turn comes Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and 1st position bets again. it is called by other two and i fold.
river is 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and player in last position after i left wins with two pair, sixes and nines. Where did i go wrong?

Not flopping a set. Hand is fine.

Well, this might be weak but I think a reraise with so many people in is rather useless, since you probably need to hit a set against so many opponents. You are 8:1 to hit it so a raise with 6 opponents in is more or less break even but you can hurt your implied odds. So I'd flat call preflop. Without a set and bettors and callers in front of you, you can fold the flop, I think. When you reraised preflop, you might have odds to peel but then it's over. If you have only called preflop you can fold immediately on the flop. You have very bad reverse implied odds to see this hand through unimproved.

You played it fine, it's rare that no one has a better hand there.

the raise PF is good, I think you can fold the flop with 2 overcallers to the lead out. 14 to 1, yes, but you have 2 jacks for outs and perhaps a BDFD, which may not be good. Giving 3 outs isn't enough.

I think u played well. U have outs to draw to ur boat. but raising is too dangerous.

As I understand it we are getting 24:1 (or something like that) + lots of implied
