Most definitely. I do it, and I still get plenty of action when I raise - even UTG. The fish haven't caught on yet.

Stupid fish.

No, you'd lose more with the blinds than you can make with just those 2 hands.

No. AA and KK each come once every 221 hands. So, you will play 110 hands before playing a hand. During that time, you will pay 110/6=18 big blinds and 110/6=18 small blinds. You would have to win a ~14BB pot EVERY time to break even.

Actually, here's an interesting excercise. How many hands do you have to play if you want to break even, assuming you can average 1BB/hand played or 2BB/hand played.

If you can make 1BB/hand, then it works out to about 330 out of all possible hands, or about 25% of hands. See, you'll be playing 1 in 4 hands. So for every hand you play, you'll pay 4/6 of a BB and 4/6 of a SB, for a total of 1BB.

If you can make 2BB/hand, then it works out to about 165 out of all possible hands, or about 13%. This way, you'll be playing 1 in 8 hands, so you'll pay 8/6 big blinds and 8/6 small blinds = 2BB.

If you want to turn a profit you'll either have to play more hands, or make more on them. If you're going to play 25% of hands and you want to make 2BB/100, then over 100 hands, you'll play 25 of them, and you'll pay $25 in blinds. You want to profit $4 so you'll need to earn $29 total, or 1.16BB/hand.

Edit:
The funny thing is, if you make only $21 total, then you made only 0.84BB/hand. It's funny how small the difference between significant +EV and -EV is.

1 bb = 2 sb

1 bb/hand is massive and if you could pull that (average) there's no way you'd have to play a whopping 25% of your hands to break even.
